On Saturday, April 6, 2019 the community came together under the leadership of City of Houston Council Member Martha Castex-Tatum, Don’t Mess with Texas and their mascot, Darrel the Barrel to clean up Westbury Park.

Community members honored the late Donald R. Perkins with a Memorial Tree Dedication the morning of Oct. 18 at Townwood Park. The chief of staff for District K Council Member Martha Castex-Tatum when he passed, Donald was a much-loved colleague who served the city of Houston for over 20 years.
