The Symposium will focus on Financial Education and Internships/Job Readiness.
Beyond Careers, and its financial institution partners, provide financial education and asset building which helps people in the low-to-moderate income, who do not use banks or banking institutions in any capacity.
Students attending the Symposium will schedule interviews with participating companies for potential unpaid internships. Students will receive information at workshop on what companies are looking for when hiring employees. Students will be encouraged to graduate and commit to staying in Houston.
