Christopher HammonsDr. Christopher Hammons, our primary speaker, is the Director of the Center for Law & Liberty and a professor of Government at Houston Baptist University. Since this is a presidential election year, his topic will be, “Be Happy It’s Not 1800: Presidential Elections in Perspective”.

He teaches courses in constitutional history, political thought, and American Politics. Dr. Hammons is the recipient of several teaching awards and is a sought after speaker on the American founding. He serves as Director of the Center for Law & Liberty at HBU which is dedicated to preserving and promoting American Founding principles.

Kat Young, our “Education Corner” speaker, is a student at Lamar High School, and will discuss the Lamar High School FFA Facility located in Southwest Houston. She is President of the Lamar Houston FFA Chapter.
