Get Ready for the 2024 National Battle of the Bands
This year’s celebration, happening on Sunday, August 25th at NRG Stadium in Houston, will feature a thrilling lineup of eight HBCU marching bands and live performances from national artists like Lecrae, Boosie Badazz, and The Walls Group. This special edition marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which has raised $1.3 million in scholarships for participating HBCUs.

About the National Battle of the Bands:

The National Battle of the Bands aims to elevate the visibility of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), showcasing their marching bands and their crucial role in shaping aspiring musicians and future leaders. Held annually at NRG Stadium in partnership with the Harris County – Houston Sports Authority, the event has raised over $1.3 million in scholarships.
