All volunteers receive free admission to the festival, as well as a free festival T-shirt!

As a non-profit partner, SPARK is required to provide 60 volunteer shifts.  As a result of these volunteer hours, SPARK received $6,000 in 2011, which was used toward production of the 2012 SPARK Art Calendar.

How to Volunteer Treeman

Choose your day, time, and area to work at the following web site:

  1. After clicking the Shiftboard link above, choose “New Registration.” Then continue under “Volunteer Registration.”  After completing and submitting the form, a confirmation email will arrive.  Click the link in this email, and another email will arrive with your user name and password so that you can log in and choose your shift.
  2. VERY IMPORTANT – When completing the information page, make sure that you select SPARK as your non-profit partner so that we get our credit that you are a SPARK volunteer.
  3. After logging into your account, click “Calendar” on the top left of the page to select your shift from the schedule.
  4. Choose any Volunteer Team in which you wish to work — there is no specific booth for SPARK.  You can be a greeter, sell coupons, work in the Children’s Zone, etc.  Whatever sounds the most fun to you!
Volunteers under age 18 must have written permission and release of liability signed by parent or guardian.  For every five students under the age of 18, a sponsor must accompany and supervise.

The ShiftBoard site for volunteer registration will close at 7 PM, Wednesday, October 10.

Watch this site for more information for volunteers:
