Dear Friend of the Westbury Civic Club,
Due to the weather uncertainties this morning, the executive officers of the Westbury Civic Club decided to POSTPONE the WCC Annual Meeting by a week to Wednesday, Sept 25, 2019.
Several of our elected officials have confirmed that they will be able to attend our new meeting date. Confirmed thus far for Sept 25 are Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, State Rep Shawn Thierry, District K CM Martha Castex-Tatum, AtLarge CM David Robinson, and HISD Trustee Wanda Adams. AtLarge CM Mike Knox is aware of the date change.
The Annual Meeting information is:
Place: Westbury Baptist Church, 10425 Hillcroft at Willowbend, Family Life Center
Date: Wed, Sept 25, 2019 (REVISED DATE)
Time: Meet and Greet at 6 pm. Program starts at 7 pm. Mayor Turner will arrive about 7:30 pm.
