Steven Follmer, will share with us an independent hydrological and flood risk analysis of the Brays Bayou Watershed under current conditions, along with projections of what we can expect in 2040. Steven will also focus on critical flood prone areas and what could be done to mitigate future flood risks. We’re looking forward to this fabulous presentation from one of our community’s own residents!

Gary Zika, Federal Projects Manager for the Harris County Flood Control District – Gary will address the anticipated detention projects at the site of the old Boardwalk Apartments (Fondren at Brays Bayou) and the green space area at 610/S. Braeswood. Plus, talk about the ongoing and future work on the bridges, happenings in and around the Willow Waterhole complex and of course any other HCFCD news and community updates. Project Brays team members Melissa Meyer and Rusty Lannin will also be available for any one on one or group discussions before and after the meeting. If you have questions or just want to keep up with the latest, you know once a month HCFCD will be at the BBA!
