Dear J Members,
We are all saddened and horrified by the events yesterday and the shooting at the Chabad of Polway. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with the victims, their families, Chabad of Polway and the entire San Diego Jewish Community.
The J will be hosting a community gathering to honor the victims and offer our support and solidarity on Monday, April 29 from 6:30 PM-7:00 PM. The event will be held in the back parking lot adjacent to the Tennis Center, and we hope that you are able to attend. Parking will be limited, so please plan accordingly.
Note that the J will remain open during the community program. If you are coming to the J for a program, class or to use the Tennis or Fitness Center, please allow for additional time. Children in KidZone, gymnastics and other after school programs and classes will be picked up in front of the J/Gymnastics Center at their normal time.
BAS parents will receive a separate communication with directions to access the BAS parking lot off of Braeswood from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. BAS parents will be able to park in the BAS parking lot to pick up children at the end of the day.
Adult basketball league and all classes will be held as scheduled; please allow sufficient time to arrive and park.
