The Houston Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (HCPAAA) recently teamed up with South Gessner HPD and the Brays Oaks Management District to show their appreciation for local law enforcement through the “Hydrate the Officer” initiative. This program ensures officers stay hydrated while serving the community, especially during long shifts and hot weather.
Yesterday’s water pick-up event at H-E-B was a great success! Officer Ollie Thibeaux led the charge, loading an impressive 2,016 bottles of water into a trailer for the hardworking officers of South Gessner.
This effort wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of the Houston community and HCPAAA volunteers. Together, we continue to stand behind our first responders, providing the resources they need to stay strong while keeping us safe.
Thank you to everyone involved for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who protect and serve!
