Happy Independence Day

Dear District K Friends,

As we gather to celebrate Independence Day, let’s embrace the unity and spirit that make our community strong. On this day, we honor our freedoms and reflect on the shared values that define District K.

Please remember that popping fireworks is illegal within the City of Houston. Instead, we invite you to enjoy the many free and family-friendly celebrations around our city, including the Annual Freedom Over Texas Celebration. Join us for an evening of live music, food, and a spectacular professional fireworks display that will light up the Houston sky!

Let’s celebrate safely and responsibly while enjoying these wonderful festivities.

Wishing you a joyful and safe 4th of July!

In service,

Martha

Join Us for Freedom Over Texas

Celebrate the 4th of July at this year’s Freedom Over Texas on Allen Parkway! Enjoy six hours of fun-filled festivities, live music from local, regional, and national artists, and the grand finale: a “Texas-sized” fireworks show synchronized to music.

As Houston’s signature July 4th celebration, it draws around 50,000 attendees and is broadcast live in Houston, with portions simulcast across Texas.

This year, we’re partnering with the Houston Food Bank. A percentage of food and beverage sales will support their mission to meet our community’s needs.
