Brays Oaks Management District officials and Houston Mayor Pro Tem / District K Council Member Martha Castex-Tatum broke ground ceremonially today (March 4) on commercial property where the district’s first Starbucks is destined to open.

The location, where a new McDonald’s already does business, is 10890 South Sam Houston Pkwy West at West Airport Blvd. The developer is working to bring additional restaurants and retail businesses to the 9.5-acre tract.

The intersection serves as a gateway to the growing, diverse management district for vehicle traffic between the southwest Houston and the Sugar Land areas and beyond.

The property will include a Tesla e-vehicle charging station; stay tuned for news about other future tenants!
