Father’s Day Community Bike Ride 

Sat. June 18, 2022 | 9AM-11AM| 13097 Nitida St., Houston, TX 77045

 

Families are encouraged  neighbors & friends for a six (6) mile ride that should take no longer than two (2) hours as it will not be a sprint ride. This is a planned leisurely ride.

India House offers free in-person and online classes in a variety of areas for personal development. Some of the classes include fitness, children’s art, languages, technology, and more. You can also take advantage of legal services, immigration consulting and relationship coaching.

Street Olympics 

The Street Olympics is a non-profit organization that encompasses a network of recreational, educational and health programs primarily serving youths between the ages of 6 & 16.

During the summer, Street Olympics programming is dedicated to the Summer Games, Discovery Camp, 3-on-3 Basketball, and Final Event. Each program is hosted by multiple youth agencies in neighborhoods across the county.   https://streetolympics.org

Friends of Marian Park Bayou Bike Ride

Thanks to everyone that participated in the Marian Park bayou bike ride. A Special thanks to Council Member K Chief of Staff, DiDi Chavis, Council Member J Polaris Patrol vehicle unit, Commissioner Ellis Precinct 1, Edidiong Chrys Obot, HPD Bike Patrol Officers, South Gessner DRT/Community Service Unit, Neighborhoods to Trails Southwest, HPARD, Busy Bee Wellness Center and the Brays Oaks Super Neighborhood #36 for the continued support. Remember to get out to enjoy the community parks and neighborhood trails.

The Brays Oaks Super Neighborhood Council does not meet in July.  Meetings resume on Tuesday, August 2, 2022
