Solugen is focused on developing cutting-edge chemical solutions for customers that are safer to use, more cost-effective, and have a lower environmental impact compared to traditional industrial

Sallie Alcorn was elected to Houston City Council in December 2019. As an at-large representative, she’s focused on issues affecting residents citywide – budget, transportation, infrastructure, public safety. As chair of the Regulatory and Neighborhood Affairs Committee, she has zeroed in on matters impacting the quality of life in Houston neighborhoods – illegal dumping, regulation of hazardous materials in residential areas, bar/nightclub-related nuisances, stray animals. Sallie was also appointed by Mayor Turner to the board of the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) and an alternate position on H-GAC’s Transportation Policy Council where she’s gained insight into how the city works with its many partners toward improvements for the region.
