You are invited to explore Hillcroft on a walking tour on Saturday, November 2. Westbury is fortunate to have an amazingly wide esplanade for the full stretch of Hillcroft in our neighborhood . This esplanade has much potential as a shady and safe TRAIL in the future.
Several years ago, the Westbury Civic Club and allies were able to protect the Hillcroft esplanades from being narrowed (to add more lanes of concrete roadway), so we know that Hillcroft will remain at 4 lanes within Westbury.
Neighborhoods to Trails Southwest (NTTSW), a local trail advocacy group, invites all who are interested to join them for a walk along Hillcroft on November 2, 2019.
Starting point: Parking lot of Westbury Church Of Christ, 10424 Hillcroft St.
Walk Route: Parking lot to Hillcroft at Willowbend, head south on Hillcroft to West Bellfort, and then return to parking lot.
Time: Start at 9:00 AM. End at about 10:00 AM. November 2.
During the walk, trail and neighborhood advocates will address concerns you might have about a future Hillcroft trail and would like to obtain your suggestions.
