When: August 10, 8-10 P.M.
Where: Westbury Community Garden (map)

Members from the Houston Astronomical Society will set up at least 5 telescopes and will guide visitors in viewing the night sky. “Even though it won’t get dark until after 9P.M., we can still view the moon, Mars, and Saturn during twilight. After it gets dark, we’ll try some deep sky objects like a star cluster or a double star.”

This event is free of charge.

PUCS coffee truck will be available 7:45-9:00 p.m. with dessert/snack items. For drinks there will be their regular iced/hot coffee-decaf, iced teas, and some special non-coffee drinks.

Hope for a clear night with good visibility. There is no rain date for this event.
