Hillcroft Corridor Reconstruction Plans (CIP # N-100012)
Providing input on or before August 22, 2016 allows the City to stay on schedule.
Public Works and Engineering is seeking public input on plans for the expansion of Hillcroft, between Bissonnet and Beechnut, which is in the design phase now with construction planned for late 2018.
The intent of the project, planned in 2012, is to reconstruct Hillcroft between Bissonnet and Beechnut by widening it to accommodate six lanes of traffic. Included in the project is the replacement of aging storm as well as sewer and waste water lines underground, new street and traffic lighting, and to improve pedestrian mobility by replacing sidewalks alongside this stretch of roadway on Hillcroft.
