Dr. Madeline Burillo
Dr. Madeline Burillo is associate vice chancellor for Workforce Instruction at HCC. Her department works with TWC in providing training. As reported local community colleges are working closely with area businesses to provide customized job training programs for Houston’s workforce. This is made possible through the Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC)Skills Development Fund (SDF).
The SDF is Texas’ premier job-training program, which provides local customized training opportunities for Texas businesses and workers to increase skill levels and wages of the Texas workforce. The program assists businesses and trade unions by financing the design and implementation of customized job-training projects.
