This is your park

Tonight, February 18 6:30pm at Westbury High School main lecture hall

Westbury High School will hold a community meeting to share the latest updates on the work being done under the 2012 bond program. The school is receiving $40 million for partial replacement and generation renovations to the existing building to accommodate 2,300 to 2,500 students. The project is in the design development phase, and the construction schedule is currently being evaluated. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear from the project architect and HISD team members. It is important for the Willow Waterhole Park supporters to be attendance to investigate issues important to us: no current plan for dedicated funding for the Fine Arts programs of WHS, the apartment complexes adjacent to the School and the Park, and flooding issues. As a community we can make this entire area an example of community collaboration and support!
